First Football Emergency

Conversation between Austin and I yesterday after football practice:

Me:  "Oh no!!! What happened??? Why are your fingers bandaged? Do we need to go to the E.R.?  Are they broken?  Can you move them?  Why didn't the coaches call me?"
AJ:  "It's OK, Mom, calm down, I'm fine." (lifting his hand up to show me)
Me:  "My baby! Oh no,,,, who did this? And why?" (in my 'getting angry' voice)
AJ:  "Mom,,,it's OK.  I tackled some guy, and when he got up, he stepped on my fingers."
Me:  "Holy crap! What's his name?  I'll get him..."
AJ:  "It was an accident, Mom."
Me:  "Are you just saying that so I won't whip his weenie ass and totally embarrass you?"
AJ:  "No.  For real."
Austin pauses for a second.
AJ:  "He was pretty big...like 150 pounds big."
Me:  "Wow... steroids? A 7th grader weighing 150 pounds? What the hell does he eat? And are we sure he didn't fail like 4 grades?"
Austin just laughs.
I'm thinking this dude sounds huge.  What if his mom is bigger? Maybe I just need to relax. It's only 3 fingers and Austin never really had great handwriting to begin with anyway.
Me:  "Well, I'll let this one slide. He's freakin' LUCKY!"
Austin just looks confused.
