The zits on my face from last week are slowly starting to go away. I'm gonna miss playing connect the dots while I wait for Austin to get out of football practice at 6:40pm!!! Not to mention picking at them. Fun.
(I just drank a Pepsi).
My routine at home is very busy. It's like I don't even have time to put a brush through my hair! Blow dryer? What's that? Is the natural 'simba look' in? Awesome! Curling iron? pfft....ya, ok, maybe next time. The polish on my toe nails is chipping off and now I'm literally 'touching up' the chips on my way down the stairs, hoping I don't trip OR mess up the 15th coat of 'touch up' paint while yelling at the boys to make sure they have everything they need. I'm now trying to sleep sitting up in hopes that I won't mess up my mascara by squashing my face into my pillow so that it last three more days. I won't even pull my blankets back on my bed to save time in the morning (my OCD prefers that I make my bed before I leave anywhere. Mr. Oliver Clive Davis is such an ass). Shaved legs? baahahahahahaa! I'm looking quite lovely these days.
(I just ate a donut).
Dinner time has come down to whatever we can find in the pantry or frig that isn't expired more than two months and that is easy to prepare, being that we get home after 7pm! "Eat it! It's still good" is what we hear a lot of these days. Money has been tough these last couple weeks,,, not gonna lie, but thankfully, if I can scrounge up some energy we can head over to Gracie's for a somewhat home cooked meal. Most of the time we just stay home and have our nutritious meal which consists of last month's casserole, wilted salad with outdated dressing, a slice of green cheese and flat Dr. Pepper to wash it all down.. yum! (I just prayed for fresh food. lol)
School has totally milked me dry like a baby does it's mother! School supplies, clothes, shoes, backpacks, food (snacks for after school), school pics, lunch money, football pics, gym clothes, agendas and haircuts. That's not including preparing Jacob for college; SAT's, ACT's, admission fees, preparing for transportation which means a car, insurance, etc., etc.! Crap! (I just downed my entire bottle of vodka).
There are so many things coming up. My calendar is full!!! Deadlines to apply for college stuff, 24 birthdays (NO EFFING JOKE!!!), a bridal shower, a wedding, open house, school meetings with athletics, 1 cookout, 1 baseball game, and a partridge in a pear tree! To say I have time on my hands for me is a complete
So, other than trying to adjust with the busy schedule and not putting a hole in my head,,, all is good! Can't complain! lol We're gearing up for football season, which I'm really looking forward to (Kitty Hawk Middle School Flyers, Longhorns and Cowboys). I'm also excited to dress up my home in fall stuff; pumpkins, fall leaves, fall scented candles and fall wreaths. I love this time of year minus the chaos, but overall, it's my favorite time. Hopefully, I can lose a few pounds so I can pack them back on around Thanksgiving and Christmas! I would hate to keep adding on...I absolutely don't think milk duds, vodka, soda or donuts will affect me in any way, right? Anyhoo, more to come on my 'busy'ness, I'm sure! Stay tuned..... I'll leave you with a few pics from our first Longhorn game this past weekend and a couple of random funny pics.
