Simple Pleasures in Life!
Hobby Lobby! Just made a visit today! I usually spend about 'alot of' hours almost every time I go there! The walking I do is equivalent to a marathon. It's a great way to stay in shape doing something I love. It's a little overwhelming sometimes with the overflow of stuff, but I LOVE IT! This place is UH-MA-ZING!
Coco Channel. I smell scrumptious! Nice Christmas gift for anyone who's wondering... :)
Clorox Wipes. Could there be a better towelette? I. don't. think. so. They come in different scents, big or small container, and it kills cold and flu viruses! Wow! Genius! I should wipe my kids down immediately after school! Great invention for a germ-a-phobic like me!
Men of Country Music! B E A T I F U L. A few of my favs: George Strait. He's ages like fine wine! Yummy Jason Aldean, Gary Allen, Luke Bryan Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Easton Corbin, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Little Jimmy Dickens (juuust kidding! lol) and the list continues!
Antonio Milani. "Thank you Mr. Milani, for the best shoes ever!"
Candles. Paired with a great bottle of wine, candles can uplift my spirit in seconds!
Wine. Paired with a great candle, wine becomes my best friend,,,instantly!
A good book or magazine.
Sleeping in on my days off. It's been a long time coming. With two kids there was never much sleep. Now, I can get some zzzzz's and relax.
Nashville. Need I say more?
Hot water. This is especially nice when I soak in a bath (with my candle and wine, of course!)
Flat irons. With out them you could call me Simba!
Oprah. Love, love, love her!
Fuzzy socks. Great on cold days when I wanna sit on the couch and watch a movie. Yes,,,I have other items of clothing on! Possibly fuzzy too! :)
Reality TV!!!!!! American Idol- I want Simon back! Dancing with the Stars- I would sooo go on that show! And Bachelor/Bachelorette- This is how I live vicariously and get to visit places around the world!!
Cameras. I love pictures and picture frames. Best way to hold on to a memory sometimes!
Glue guns. Oh how I love thee!
Sweets. All kinds!
Macaroni and Cheese! Enough said!
...and this list goes on! I don't take anything or anyone for granted.
Oh, I can't forget candied sweet potatoes! umm, umm good!
Before I go, I'd like to share one of my favorite little prayers.
"Give Me Joy"
Give us a sense of humor, Lord, and also things to laugh about.
Give us the grace to take a joke against ourselves, and to see the funny side of the things we do.
Save us from annoyance, bad temper, resentfulness against our friends.
Help us to laugh even in the face of trouble.
Fill our minds with the love of Jesus; for his name's sake. AMEN
