Therapy Needed

This is really bad!  I first wanted to do a simple birthday for my niece, Raeya, decorated with hot pink and zebra designs.  My sister just wouldn't have it.  Her words were, "we already did that!"  My words were, "uh...it was hot pink and LEOPARD!" Anyway, to make a long story short, she won.  She wanted Rapunzel.  Great.  I'm doomed, I thought!  How would I ever out do my long rival, cousin, Danielle.  Let me paint this picture for you; My son Austin turned one and I went all out with the Winnie the Pooh decorations, complete with a magician! (I won't go into detail about the tricks that a*$hole did with a snake, but let me just say that my phobia of reptilians caused me to jump over tons of people sitting behind me and maybe even caused me to throw my one year old to...ummm...I'm not sure who!) Anyway, back to this story.  So, I went all out with these decorations.  Next thing I know, a couple months later I receive the cutest Elmo invitation from my cousin Danielle for her son, Alec's birthday party!  "what???!!"  I went crazy trying to figure out just how she had made the best looking invitation to date!  I couldn't have this, soooo, from then on I secretly tried to always out do her.  I never wanted to tell her because her talent would have me stressing out every, single year!  So, I thought, 'if she doesn't know I'm secretly trying to out do her, she won't ever out do me'.  Right?  Wrong.  She's a talented, dirty, rotten kid (like her father calls every child in our family)!  Anyway, fast forward to this year.  Wait, I have to include that I did the coolest Sponge Bob birthday party for my son a few years after complete with homemade Sponge Bob tee shirts for people to wear!  HA!!!  So, OK, here we are 2011.  Facebook is great for sharing pictures of loved ones and that's exactly what Danielle did.  She shared photos of her son's birthday party.  It was Thomas the train and every detail was amazing!  (I would post a picture, but don't know how.  Ah, probably better anyway! LOL)  A month later my sister says she wants Rapunzel for my niece's birthday.  Since I never had girls to plan for, I've taken full advantage of my sickness with decorating and birthday planning.  Note:  I'm not the only one who suffers from this illness.  I have other cousins who are equally talented and friends who have come very close to outdoing me at birthday parties.  Ok, I'll be honest, Carolyn totally outdid me for her daughter's Paris themed birthday!  Well, I somehow convinced my step dad to create this castle from wood for pictures at the party!  He'll be going to therapy with me!  lol!  Every, little thing is soooo girly and cute!  I can't say more, because we haven't had the party yet.  I'll post every detail later.  For now, I'm just hoping I survive this illness that has completely consumed me.  My sister is pretty much on 'lockdown' until this whole party is done with!  She says I'm bossy, but what the hell does she know about chocolate covered spoons??? lol  Oh, and just for the record, I've confronted my cousin Danielle about our 'decorating war' and her words to me were, 'It's on beatch!'  haha!  ohhhh, it's on!  Love you cousin!
